Compact cassettes were introduced in 1963 and are still in limited use.
The average dimensions of a compact cassette tape are 10 cm x 6.3 cm x 1.3 cm. The dimensions of this cassette tape are likely lower, however, considering the average dimensions are not far from the ones listed on Wikipedia as being the largest possible size.
Although the cassette is smaller than its predecessors, it can hold 30-45 minutes of stereo music, which may also be the case for speech recordings.
Compact cassettes typically allow for 60 minutes of recording time (30 minutes per side). C60 tapes had this amount of recording time, with the other popular tapes being C90 and C120. The latter two tapes were more prone to breakage due to using thinner tapes.
I could not find the ratings on stability and obsolescence in the Museum of Obsolete Media, so I will guess based on what I know. Since these cassettes are still in production and limited use but poor in quality, it likely falls at 2 on the scale of least to most obsolete. Regarding stability, it probably also falls at 2 considering that it is relatively durable and just requires some routine maintenance.
