Like Adams, I focused on capturing the sharp contrasts of light and shadow in the landscape. His black-and-white images often highlighted the textures of granite cliffs and expansive valleys, and l aimed to achieve a similar effect. Taken in broad daylight, my shot emphasizes bright highlights and deep shadows, much like Adams' work. While Adams used large-format film to capture such fine detail, the iPhone's advanced camera capabilities and editing tools allowed me to create a comparable image. The photo was shot during my road trip, where I had the chance to witness Yosemite's beauty firsthand. The result blends Adams' picture technique with modern photography , offered a fresh yet timeless perspective of this beautiful landscape.
