A Man of His Own Rules
He doesn't look like a man who needs to explain himself.
There is something about his presence. The cap pulled low, the glasses catching the light, a gaze fixed on something beyond the frame.
Perhaps he has a story worth telling.
Perhaps he prefers to keep it to himself.
I wanted to photograph him as if he had stepped out of a forgotten film scene. No elaborate setting. Just character, warm light, and the suggestion of a life lived on his own terms.
Because sometimes, a portrait becomes more interesting when it leaves something to the imagination.
Emotion. Stillness. Light.
