Yikes, Black Bear In Our Yard!
I spotted this bear from our upstairs window and yelled to Catherine, She, almost killing herself on the stairs, sees that the lens on the camera is a 50mm, so she quickly grabs the 24-70 to grab a quick shot. At this point, the bear is almost nearing the point of missing the shot. Catherine quickly aims at the bear, no time to manually adjust the exposure and gets off one shot through a window and screen. (she didn't want to step outside...I don't know why ;-) She tries for a second shot and the battery died. We've always known that they exist around here, but this was a first time seeing one in our yard!
