In the beginning...
...God created man, and man created the Corvette.
This car has an interesting story. In speaking with the current owner he told me that when he purchased the car it had been highly modified for track racing. Also, it had been further streamlined for racing with some body work done to it, and the entire tail end had been converted to the 1957 Corvette tail end. He, with the help of others brought it back to 100% original including an engine change to the originally equipped Blue Flame 150hp 6 cylinder engine. Many of the replaced body parts had to be hand fabricated and created in molds. He showed me photos of the before car, and it gave me some idea of the amount of work that had gone into this remake to original. Sadly, I don't recall if he said it was a '53, or a '54, but I think a '53.
