psycho dreams compilation
Music: Psycho Dreams by Encassator &Kill Eva, Sped up version
My first time ever seeing the Aurora was Aug 2024 and specifically got a camera March 2025 to try to capture the lights. This is a combo of handheld iPhones realtime video, iPhone 16pro Timelapse, and CanonR6 Timelapse. My best views were during the coldest week of the year and my frozen fingers hurt doing anything with and without my gloves. Once putting gloves on, my hands hurt from just quick moments of only thin gloves or no gloves. I would leave my camera to do Timelapse and enjoy the sky during that time but tried to also record some on my phone. iPhones freeze and stop working in extreme temps and my hands were too froze to try to get phone into a tripod. Screen is cracked from putting it in tripod in extreme cold. One timelapse is from placing my phone on top of my car.
I can’t see the lights every night like it may seem but I take full advantage when I can. When chasing the lights I go to the dark and it can be unsettling and spooky at times. But once I see the Aurora I feel so excited and thrilled and time flies. Most of this footage is from one single night I stayed out 12 hours -30C til blue hour
