Inside The Tree

This series investigates the tension between calm and stress in nature by using a shallow depth of field to focus on small patterns and compressed textures such as repetitive lines in leaves, or tight lines in bark. My Materials in this photo were my camera and short lense as well as the tree. These materials helped me capture a really cool shot. My Idea behind this was to capture the tight lines inside tree bark. I though it was really cool how the outside of the tree and the inside look so much different. My Process with this image was to do editing in lightroom. I cropped the image as well as blurred the backround and made the focal point sharper.
