TTC Orion VII OG HEV 1109
Seen here turning off of Bloor Street West onto Runnymede Road is a long-retired Orion 7 OG hybrid operating on the 77 Swansea, if I remember correctly this was the second last OG to operate on the 77 (1102 being the final one to do it on Sep 5th, a week before all the OG's retired). The final 2 OG's (1064 & 1102) were withdrawn from revenue service on September 11th and are currently in the process of being decommissioned. Toronto feels rather empty without any of the OG's roaming around, with many Transit enthusiasts now shifting focus to the NG's as their retirement approaches.
OG hybrid's lasted from 2006 - 2025...
A caption I would like to add to this photo is: "The end of the OriGinals..."
This photo was taken on July 30th, 2025 at 9:30pm as this bus was making another trip down south to Queensway.
