47225 was seen on bogie tanks at

Collyhurst Street

 

The accident damaged remains of Mk2a

5227 was in the headshunt from the Down

Loop at Edale. This was one of the 4 coaches that formed the 18:33 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly on the night of 9th March 1986 hauled by 31436 that collided with 45014 The Cheshire Regiment at

Chinley North Junction. The coach was

broken up on site by Mayer Newman in August 1986
