Vulnerable

I have spent my life fighting alone, like a warrior who had no choice but to keep moving forward despite the wounds. I learned to rely only on myself, to hide my fears behind an armor forged by hardship.

 

So today, even though I have your support, your listening ear, your love, and your precious words, opening my heart is still a challenge. Not because I doubt you, but because I am still learning that I no longer have to carry everything on my own.

 

I love you more than words can express, and every day, I try to give myself permission to be vulnerable with you. Because after a lifetime of surviving, learning how to let yourself be loved is sometimes the greatest act of courage.

 

Thank you for giving me a safe haven where I can lay down my weapons without fear, for allowing me to be fragile in your arms without ever feeling judged. Thank you for supporting me unwaveringly, even when doubt finds its way into my heart.

 

Thank you for the man you are for your kindness, your patience, your loyalty, and the light you bring into my darkest places. Because of you, I am learning that vulnerability is not a weakness, but one of the purest expressions of trust and love. ❤️
