Kabuki, 4th March 2093

I patrol these streets once again.

Since the first rain, the world hasn't been the same.

I remember when the streets were crowded with children…

with hope.

People used to have dreams.

Now we barely sleep.

Only these neon signs remain… of what the city once was.

Survival is now the only goal —

to live another day.

The rains fall harder every day. I've seen loved ones change…

they become something else.

Maybe I will too, someday.

Yes. I know I will.

Eventually.

I used to believe I could save people.

That I could protect them.

Time taught me the truth.

In this world, only the strong survive.

And Kabuki has slowly forgotten,

what it once was.
