Abyss of commerce

In the Christmas season, the enormous dome of the Leeds Corn Exchange is delicately illuminated. The oval structure was modelled on the Parisian corn exchange, la Bourse du Commerce on the Rue de Viarmes. Unlike its Parisian cousin, the Leeds building maintains its original dome.
