Leyland DAF 95-430 8x4 Tractor
L193 ANX - Photographed by me at the heavy haulage lay-by on the A5 Near Shenstone, Staffordshire in October 1995.
The 5 axle trailer is loaded with a Great Western Class 52 diesel electric locomotive and is running close to 100 Tons GCW.
This lay-by was a great spot for me, to photograph abnormal loads, travelling the heavy haulage A5/M42 route avoiding the 80 Ton restriction on the elevated sections of the M6 through Birmingham.
Being close to my home and on the way from work I took many photos at the site, some of which I have uploaded to flickr.
