Pledging allegiance

I felt guilty about leaving my headphones in an abandoned heap on the radio so I bought this stand for the price of a bag of coffee beans. On arrival the veneer looked dry and sad so I gave it a spray with furniture polish while standing in the kitchen. The over spray has nourished the floor, for sure, but left it lethally smooth too! Time to get scrubbing with hot water and vinegar.
