Preserved Lothian Buses 664 (SN04 AAJ) @ Lathalmond

25 minutes from Dunfermline to Edinburgh Airport 💨

Seen at Lathalmond is preserved Lothian Buses Dennis Trident Plaxton President 664 (SN04 AAJ) in her rather smart original Airlink livery on a guided tour around the museum.

664 was new to Lothian Buses in March 2004 for the Airlink 100 between Edinburgh Airport and City Centre, and she is one of the last Lothian Tridents before Transbus/Mayflower was placed in administration. 664, along with other Airlink Presidents was later replaced by Scania Omnicities and moved to Longstone depot until she was withdrawn in 2018. In 2019, Lothian Buses fully restored 664 into a preserved vehicle, which includes a full repaint into the Airlink livery as new and refitting wheel covers and tables. In 2025, after years of storage, Lothian Buses’ heritage fleet, including 664, has moved to Lathalmond, continuing the preservation, except for the Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 701, which was unfortunately sold in 2020 to save costs.

Special thanks to the very friendly driver who is behind the wheel of 664!
