Lone Tree and Friends
My attempt at Comet 12P Pons-Brooks set against a lone tree on a hill on Fountains Road near Ripon, North Yorkshire, UK. It was a difficult capture as this is a class 4 bortle area with a fair amount of light pollution from nearby Harrogate and Leeds to the South. However, I am please with the final result. The Comet was actually quite bright and you can just see M33 Triangulum Galaxy to the right. The Hare sat in the field was an added bonus!
Fujifilm X-T4 with Samyang 85mm F1.8 mounted on a MSM Star tracker.
Sky - 53 x 15 second exposures at ISO 6400 and F2.8, stacked using Sequator
Foreground - 1 x exposure at the blue hour, 1/12 second ISO 200 F5.6
