Albertsons #1165 Amerige Heights Town Center Fullerton, CA
For some reason, I never posted this store that I visit over a year ago. Unfortunately I have been busy this holiday season, so I haven't been able to get some new content so far, but for now, I figured this would be something good to post.
This Albertsons, as well as it's Albertsons Express gas station and c-store, opened in 2001 as part of the new Amerige Heights Town Center, containing other major retailers like Target Greatland, Barnes & Noble, Ross, and OldNavy. When this shopping center first opened, interestingly all the big box store exterior signage was lit up with neon tubes. Around the early 2010's, most of the neon signage slowly was replaced with traditional tube or LED backlit signage. Here is a street view photo from 2007 of the former neon signage Albertsons had:

Unfortunately, after much digging, the only online image I could find of this Albertsons original signage is from the street view pictures.
This store did open as a Grocery Palace, and in the early 2010's, this Albertsons had its remodel to PFH under SuperValu. More recently in 2022, this store got its second remodel to Modern. This store looks very clean, but simplistic now with the Modern decor.
This Albertsons also uses Boars Head meats for their deli unlike a majority of other Albertsons and Vons that use Dietz & Watson. The only other Albertsons I know of with Boars Head so far is Ladera Ranch. The only other SoCal Albertsons Cos stores that use Boars Head are all the Pavillions which come standard with a Boars Head deli.
