Portable toilets
There were three buses equipped as portable toilets along this stretch. They appeared totally deserted. The toilets in Jiuzhaigou are plentiful, clean and free, and the toilet bowls are equipped with disposable single use liners which automatically flush away, and replaced with new liners after each use. Amazing!
Public toilets in China have come a long way.
Part of the reason toilet in Jiuzhaigou are clean is because the Park management can afford the costs of upkeep, due to the high admission costs - up to RMB300 (US$50) per visitor.
