hooded warbler from Cumberland mountain state park earlier this week.

 

hooded warblers are a plenty on the short loop trail at cumberland mountain, being common in most forest understories in the eastern US, but attracted usually towards thickets of rhododendrons and laurel. this is one of many that were present at the park.
