Back of an old painting. Fabriano 140# Coldpress paper with Mijello Mission Gold Pure Pigment Watercolors. Allyson inspired me with her negative painting of leaves she did last week. So I tried it, too. Mine is sloppy with lots of errors, but, I like the process. I plan to do another this week if I have time! Also, I found that layering paints (drying after each layer) can give you darker values.
