flyingcake_
landing pad pt1
a landing pad moc i wanted to make for some of my ship designs, the one here is another unfinished blacktron themed ship. its not that i didnt know what to do, but just around that time i got really busy and eventually just forgot about it
another project from last year, or maybe it was before that...
anyways the landing pad is a bit inspired by the one in star wars endor i think its called. i really like this because i managed to make an actual sturdy and flush octagonal shape.
have not tested this in real life, so not 100% sure if this even would work. the bridges are pretty flimsy i think also so eh
i mean 5k+ parts, is going to be so expensive but stud.io is bugging out right now because its saying all of this is worth about 3 dollars haha
even if i were to make this, i have no good place to put this, especially since my floor is all carpet..
the bright green figs by the way are to keep track of scale when building, sometimes i forget and get carried away, making something too small or too big for a fig
my idea for the connections is to have the shorter bridge connect to a deep cave repurposed into a type of base or station, while the longer bridge connects to some kind of tower, maybe a radio tower or watch tower, or something.
unfortunately some inverted tiles dont come in light bley, so i had to use a ton of small 2x2 to cover the entire undersides of the bridges haha. the 4x8(i think?) inverted tile is perfect otherwise, no qpart or no set that i know of
