Heron - not interested in moving (10.6.26)
The Great Crested Grebes were happily building their nest on this float on Hogganfield Loch. All of a sudden this young heron appeared. It had flown in from the neighbouring island. The GCGs 'abandoned ship'! The heron paced up and down on the float but refused to leave. The GCGs got their courage back and approached, then circled the float but the heron had no intention of leaving.
