For this shot I wanted to use the front light to get the most out of the yellow flowers. Freeman stated that yellow "has obvious associations with the sun and other sources of light, and especially against a dark background appears to radiate light itself." I wanted to replicate that feeling with this image with the bright yellow flowers and darker green background. To edit I had to bring the shadows up and the highlights down due to the direct light, I also brought the vibrance up a tad. I was pleased with how the yellow really popped out.
