Movin’ On

I think the title of one of my favorite Good Charlotte songs fits this image well. Two decrepit standard cabs ride some of their final miles before being rebuilt in Mayfield, Kentucky. I don’t usually (or ever) post trailing power on here because let’s be honest, who really cares? I found these to be an exception because it’s a chapter of railroad history that has come to a close. D&H 7304 and CP 6031 both trail on NS 34G in Osceola, Indiana. I find it neat these two locomotives ride together because when CP bought the D&H back in 1991, the 6031 was wearing the paint it still retains. D&H 7304 was also wearing the same coat of paint at that time too. A nice way to end off an era of Canadian Pacific’s roster.
