Inquiry Statement: What does photography reveal about the importance, beauty, and ever-presence of mathematics?
Weakness: Over-editing - I want to take photos that look better straight out of camera to save time and minimize steps.
Materials:
Fujifilm X-T50 Camera
Marin county civic center building main facade
Idea:
The shapes of the different windows as you go from top to bottom involve number and proportion. They also remind me of harmonic standing waves, which relate to not just math but also physics and music.
Process:
I made sure to stand a good ways back from the front of the building so I could fit in all in frame, using the small center island in entrance road so I could keep a symmetrical perspective and avoid being in the way of any cars. However, said center island also contains trees so I had to remove a tree in Photoshop.
