Eglė the Queen of Snakes, is a Lithuanian folk tale, first published by M. Jasewicz in 1837.
Eglė the Snake Queen is one of the best-known Lithuanian fairy tales, with many references to Baltic mythology. More than a hundred slightly divergent versions of the plot have been collected. His mythological background has been the subject of interest of Lithuanian and foreign researchers of Indo-European mythology.

Eglė la Reine Serpent est l'un des contes de fées lituaniens les plus connus, avec de nombreuses références à la mythologie balte.
