Gatekeeper

It is always difficult to give each photo a title, especially when it belongs to a sequence of shot of the same subject. I helps to distinguish which photo is being commented on and if I am lucky enough, which one has been chosen for explore.

So the choice of title here is simply because the heron decided to perch upon a gate of the path which leads to the burn (creek) where there is a small waterfall/weir in which the heron had been fishing from.
