Friends meal
We dined at one of the best restaurants in Phnom Penh, which is part of one of its most impressive charities: Friends, or Mith Samlanh, 12 interlinked programme of re-integrating street children into their families and into society. 'Friends the Restaurant' is non-profit and fully trains former street children in the restaurant business, and the result for customers is fantastic. The green dish was a beautiful Khmer stew and the middle dish was a tamarind barbecue meatball miracle. www.streetfriends.org
