Elevator

On the picture, I see an elevator in the wall of Heritage College. This picture represents the fact that Heritage College is providing tools to help people with physical disabilities to move more freely on the campus. It makes me feel happy to see that Heritage College cares about the wellbeing of all the students, able-bodied and disabled. I am glad to see that people with disabilities are not prevented from achieving their full potential thanks to tools like elevator; they can now move freely around the campus. The situation is this way because there is a minority of people with disabilities living in Canada. Therefore, Heritage College is trying to be more inclusive in its policies to better help them to achieve success. This photo can educate people by showing them that every student could succeed if they were given the right tools to do so. It also shows that educational institutions have the means to better accommodate students with physical disabilities. Therefore, they should do it instead of ignoring the needs of this minority of students. This photo provides opportunities to improve life in our community because it shows that it's possible to accommodate students with specific needs. It shows that being inclusive toward everyone can facilitate student's success.
