Intention: In this photo, I originally wanted to capture the contrast of the dots on the dominoes, but I found myself liking the post processing isolation of tones more for the composition of this photo.
Text Reference: In Lesson 18 Exploring Color Contrast, Ducheman states, “the principle, in general terms, is that brighter/warmer colors leap forward whereas cooler colors fall back.” (The Visual Toolbox: 60 Lessons for Stronger Photographs)
Outcome: I feel the chaos and disorganization of the dominoes help give an interesting composition, and the choice of bringing the warm colors out and desaturating the rest make the colors pop further out than if I did the cool colors instead.
Edits: Exposure adjustments, Contrast adjustments, Curves Adjustments, Hue, HSL and Saturation adjustments, Clarity adjustment, vignetting, grain adjustments.
