Hitching a Ride

A former Burlington Northern 3 bay grain hopper hitches a ride on the Everett to Sumas local freight. The former Northern Pacific Sumas Subdivision was under the ownership of the BN between 1971-1995, and in 2026 you can still find BN's logo rolling through the farm fields of the Sumas Valley.
