HAIR TRANSPLANTATION
Hair transplant is a minimal invasive procedure in which persons own hair are been transposed from one side to the area of baldness so that they can cover the bald area and grow naturally.
Hair transplantation is done under local anaesthesia. The duration of the procedure depends on the area of baldness. The patient is fully conscious , and can take breaks between the procedure. FUE is done under local anaesthesia, and it is practically pain free postoperatively. Using a tiny 1mm instrument, the surgeon will remove individual follicular units from the patients scalp. Follicular units are hair groups containing 1,2,3 or 4 hairs together. The device makes a tiny incision to isolate the graft. The graft is then extracted directly from the scalp, and then prepared for placement by a team of skilled assistants. Approximately 3 months after the procedure new hair begins to grow. Around 6 months later patient shall notice significant regrowth. The patients hair (native and transplanted) will continue to grow naturally. Patient can join his duty from the very next day of hair transplant procedure.
