Complex Territorial Dispute

Imagine those two flamingos - who were actually fighging for the territory - were two rival team leaders in any big corporation...

Flamingo 1:

“Hi, just to align: I noticed you’ve been operating in our pond area without prior stakeholder involvement.”

Flamingo 2:

“Thanks for flagging. From my understanding, the pond was never formally assigned to your team.”

Flamingo 1:

“Interesting. Because historically, East Mud has been managed under our scope.”

Flamingo 2:

“I appreciate the historical context, but we’re trying to move away from silo thinking.”

Flamingo 1:

“Of course. I’m fully supportive of collaboration. I just want to avoid duplicated shrimp-related activities.”

Flamingo 2:

“Sure. But from a business perspective, it would be inefficient if one team controlled all shrimp streams.”

Flamingo 1:

“We are not controlling them. We are ensuring compliance.”

Flamingo 2:

“Right. And we are ensuring operational flexibility.”
