Atlantic Puffin

At home amongst the Sea Campion on Inner Farne. This flower is crucial to the birds existence on the island - without it's long root system the island's soil would erode leaving nowhere for the Puffins to make their burrows. Sea Campion is also known as 'Dead Man's Bell's and, according to folklore, will tempt death if picked!!
