Westend skyline under full moon
Vanier Park, Vancouver BC.
Knowing there should be nice views of the city skyline and was thinking about taking some night photos, I took my tripod and Nikon to Vanier Park one late evening. Just after I finished shooting and was ready to leave, I heard some barkings from far to near, sure enough there were two big dogs rushing towards my direction, unleashed! It just so happened someone preferred to walk their dogs in late evening, and thinking there would be very few people at the park during those hours, the proud owners decided to have the dogs roamed around freely, which I understood. Despite the owner yelled tyowards my direction saying the dogs were (supposed to be) friendly, it was still a bit nerve wrecking to have 2 large dogs barking fiercely at you in close encounter, finally I requested the owner to come get her dogs, which she did, and then I backed away with my equipment and rushed back to my car.
