This image is by an a American abstract painter by the name of Frank Stella. he is considered to be a minimalist artist and was significant in an art movement called ”post-painterly abstraction” (www.wikiart.org/en/frank-stella). I like this image for the simple reason in that my eyes are constantly drawn to the middle then they work there way out the the sides. you could be easily mesmerized by this image if looked at long enough.
