A Small Town Christmas Parade

A bit of explanation might be helpful... our little town in west Ireland holds a tractor parade each Christmas season, and my photo captures one (rather blurry) participant as it passes a pub. Now, Fitzpatrick may be the name on the sign, but everyone knows it by the current owner's name, to the extent that if you said you were going to Fitzpatrick's for a pint your mate might hesitate to know which pub you were referring to. The shops on either side are vacant; one for years, one for decades. Our man in the doorway, hiding a pint behind his back, is an old friend, but hates having his photo taken. Years ago I attempted to take his portrait, and he quite seriously threatened to shove the camera down my throat. I love the awe with which the little ones are struck by the sight of the illumniated Santa on the front of the passing tractor. Oh, the little joys of small town life. (Dear Santa; please bring me a 1.2 lens; anything is better than the f 4 I have for shots like this one.)
