Inspiration: Various depictions of sandcrawlers from Star Wars universe.

 

Details: A custom, large sandcrawler, based on the different ones from the Star Wars universe. With 2584 parts, this is my largest MOC so far. (Do note that the instructions and part list are for the build seen on the main pic of this MOC and that some other pics have extra stuff to show the play features etc.)

 

Features include:

- Can be combined with either my MOC Z-95, X-wing or E-wing to serve as a mobile landing platform for the craft.

-- 2 flaps on the rear that can be opened and locked by moving the 1x2 round plate to extend the landing platform to fit the E-wing or other wide crafts.

- Opening side doors and front ramp

- 1 removable roof section and 2 opening roof sections

- Small crane on the roof

- Ladder for the pilot and fueling station

- "Hidden" compartments on the floor inside (use crowbar piece to open them from the hinge side!)

- Another small hidden compartment outside on the rear

- 2 "loading stations" inside for astromech droids

- Some armament on the front

- Rotatable satellite dish
