BNTM Cycle 1 - Judging: 5TH THEME (CREATURE OF THE NIGHT)

Welcome back ladies! In this theme, you were assigned to become a creature of the night. Let’s take a look at your photos!

 

*NOTE: I don’t mean to sound harsh but I really do want to help you improve on your photos by saying what needs to be fixed*

 

 

RENA:

In this photo, you lost the model in yourself. All I see is a girl posing in a Halloween costume. It’s just there and she should be modeling more.

 

LAUREN:

This photo has very poor quality. Also, the bushes are overpowering you. You lost most of your limbs in the branches.

 

BAILEA:

The first thing I notice in this photo is how flat your face looks. You took out the natural shading in your face so you look like your face is as flat as a pancake! Besides that, there is not anything special in this photo. She is just posing in the dark.

 

NONA:

In this photo, you are only resting on pretty. There is nothing special here. You look like you popped in a pair of vampire teeth and red contacts at a Halloween party. Also, your right hand is placed in a way that looks inappropriate.

 

SABRINA:

Your makeup looks pretty sloppy near your eyes and you need to practice your smizing a little bit. When you close your lower eyelid, you stretch out your iris, which looks awkward. Try to keep your iris in a normal, circular shape. Also, the photo is not as dark as it should be. It looks like it is daytime in this photo. But I am seeing improvement in your work!

 

HAZEL:

Oh my gosh you look stunning! Your lips look so much more fierce this way! This is so fierce! The lighting is perfect and there is still enough forest in the photo. You are interacting with the background, which is great. However, you lost your arms in this photo! When you model, you have to make sure that all of your limbs are visible.

 

SASHA:

This is so fierce! It is very modelesque and your hair looks great! Just practice more with applying makeup because it looks a little bit sloppy and asymmetrical.

 

IRENE:

I feel like the darkness is overpowering you. I also feel that this photo could look better if you were posing with your back against the wall for a more dramatic feel.

 

HALEY:

Where is your photo? You never contacted me or anything.

~ Lauren. You are in the bottom two for this theme because your lacked the quality and excitement that they usually have. This photo is dull with poor quality and you are allowing the backdrop to upstage you. In this industry, you need to do anything you can to stand out and make a name for yourself.

~ Haley. You stand in the bottom two for this theme because you did not turn in a photo. I’m not sure if you forgot or anything but you were tagged in this photo and you should have seen it. Your past photos have great quality, but you just blew off this theme.

 

So who stays in this competition? The girl who takes some of the best photos in this cycle but had one fallback, or the girl who usually turns in photos with great quality but forgets a theme?
