glass lid - 03 origins of my optical-materialism
This in-image annotated series, just started, is a selective, look-back chronological diary of what I believe is my contributing an innovation into the world of visual art - what I have now been calling 'Optical-Materialism macropaintography', a fusion of photography and kitchen chemistry, used to create visual art, mainly abstract or surreallist. This album, with original file properties and retrospective annotations looking back from now, is a representative blow-by-blow photo-sampling diary that charts a personally thrilling start on this journey - the ORIGINS & Birth, starting 2009, until its maturation in 2012, of jAm's 'Optical Materialism' art.
This selective diary will also form part of my presentation and hands-on workshop on Optical-Materialism Macropaintography, planned for the Oxford Visual Arts Development Agency OVADA Gallery this coming Spring of 2026, probably in March.
Each upload day into this album will aim to show 4 diary entries. All photos are SOOC (straight out of camera), no changes, no enhancements and definitely no AI
Thank you.
