Celestial Gathering

A loose conjunction of brilliant planets and stars surrounds the Moon in the western sky above Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tuesday evening, 16 June 2026. Left to right are Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, and the twins of Gemini, Pollux and Castor. Earth is represented by the faint tree line and the sunlight our planet reflects onto the night side of the Moon.
