Getting Ready
Sunday evening, February 11th, and, if one could see inside 224 Tuttle
Road, one would guess that a trip is about to take place: instructions
to pet sitters and cottage caretakers are printng; piles of fishing gear
sit in one corner of our bedroom; Carrie's closet houses mom's trip
clothes; lists are being checked off; committee agendas, news releases
for the Good Friday Walk for Habitat are in progress on mom's computer;
dad has his next column ready to submit to the PPH; guide books and
vouchers are piled in the family room. Mom has uploaded pictures
detailing the flooded guest cottage for the insurance company; bills are
being paid and Yes, we are finally realizing our dream trip to New
Zealand! The countdown begins...Sally/mom
