Remembering Christmas!
Fruit cake with cheese and a glass of port ('port wine') at Christmastide is an old tradition in my family. The glass is one of a set that my grandparents used annually for this purpose in the first half of the 20th century. The cake in this picture is not christmas cake as such, it is an Irish tea bread made by me to Delia Smith's recipe.
