DCC-1848 DC-to-DC converter
My new PCB design for the DCC-1848 DC-to-DC converter (i.e. wall wart power supply)
I want to order first the DC jack connector and test a few more inductor values before I commit to another prototype design.
So far, so good... everything seems to be converging, and I'm feeling confident about this design now... I know it works... just a matter of tweaking the little things.
I changed the input section so you have the option of using either a 12VDC or 12VAC wall wart, or just a 12V battery.
(Yeah, I guess it will still work with a 9V battery, but right now the sweet spot seems to be 12VDC input.... which is what the original design parameters was when I first started designing this. My real intention here is is the ability to power the SC-1 using wall warts or a car battery.)
