15 species of Evening Primrose are native to the UK. As its name suggests, it flowers in the evening and can be seen on waste grounds, sand dunes and verges from June to September. This flower was found on Berrow Dunes, where it grows by the thousand.
Photographer's notes: When shooting in sandy/dry locations it is critical to keep debris out of pockets. This easily gets transferred into the hollow extension tubes and into the camera. f7.1, 1/200th of a second, ISO 200.
