Starting Gravitas Part 30
Markus manages to land safely from being thrown out of the window by Rainer. He removes the eye patch as his disguise was damaged. Derek walks up the alleyway as if nothing happened. Rainer Jumps onto the fire escape watching to see what'll happen.
Markus: Tell me, brother, Why is it that every time I try to kill you, you somehow survive?
Derek: That's my little secret, and I told you it wouldn't work.
Markus: I see you've been so kind to return my jacket to me.
Derek: So now what you going to do?
Markus jumps off the platform he was on and goes to punch Derek. Derek simply sidesteps out of the way, causing Markus to miss. Markus gets pissed off. Derek keeps dodging. Then Markus says something that pisses Derek off, causing his nails to grow into claws and his teeth becoming fangs. Derek goes to attack Rainer steps in between the two brothers, tossing Derek into the dumpster and denting it. When Derek comes two in a few seconds, he tries to figure out what happened. Johnny makes a call as he and Maverick are watching this. Gage hears sirens in the distance.
Rainer: *helps Derek back to his feet* You need to be more careful.
Markus: *goes to punch Rainer*
Rainer grabs Markus by the forearm and tosses him into the wall above the platform. The cops show up.
Detective Morgan: Ok what's going on here?
Rainer: Some crazy guy over there *points to the hole in the wall* came out of nowhere and started attacking this guy. *still helping Derek to his feet*
Detective Morgan: Alright, Cuff him, boys.
Two cops go over to Markus cuffing him and getting him to his feet and taking him to one of the cars.
Derek: *handing the coat back to Marcus* How does it feel to have your plan ruined?
Markus looks at his brother and grins. After the fight, Gage takes off the bandages trying out his new cyber eyes. He is amazed by how he sees things.
