The stele on the north side of Henriettenplatz on Kurfürstendamm was created by Heinz Mack for the redesign of Henriettenplatz on the occasion of Berlin's 750th anniversary in 1987. It corresponds with Mack's colonnades on the southern side of the square and with the illuminated obelisk at the Europacenter, which was also created by Heinz Mack.
