Train To Nowhere
I never found out what these railway tracks at Qal'at Ja'bar, Syria, were for. Perhaps they originate from the time before the site became an island in Lake Assad, a reservoir on the Euphrates. Anyway, they remind me of JJ Cale’s song “Train to Nowhere”:
