White-vented Plumeleteer

Well named hummingbird found in northwestern South America and Panama. Picture taken in northern Colombia in a town of Minca.

 

This lovely hummingbird gave us a good view from Hotel Minca veranda. If you are struggling with remembering bird parts like me then after this bird I have stopped wondering where exactly the vent is!
