Blooming - Timelapse Video
Another timelapse of a flower in bloom. 160 shots this one, at 1-minute intervals. And this time, I set the camera at Aperture Priority mode with auto ISO. This means that the camera will remain at fixed aperture (f6.0) and changes the ISO and shutter speed. Which is why the exposure here is more or less constant. Shot in 4:3 ratio, with video at 1080p FHD resolution.
RAW-wise, it came out just a tad bit overexposed, and colour was oversaturated. Using Luminar 4, I post processed the brightest, most oversaturated photo, reducing exposure, played with highlights and contrast, and reduced the saturation. I then copied the adjustments to the other 159 photos. Converted from RAW to JPEG then went to PowerDirector 12 to import all the files, plus added a 1080p black image I have in my Video Resource Folder for the fade in and fade out.
First photo of this set was taken at 6:04am. Last photo taken at 8:43am, for more than two hours of timelapse photography, reduced to a 12-second video.
Still room for improvement. I think I will do a reshoot with a 30-second interval instead of 1 minute. This should make the timelapse smoother for the same amount of time.
Camera is a Lumix GX85 with Olympus 12-50mm telefoto with macro, powered by a 10000mah powerbank which is why I can do timelapse for more than two hours with some battery juice to spare.
